A 1.4 MWp system on an integrated resort in Cebu City, energised in 2024 as EPC subcontractor to a Philippine solar developer. The project appears in our records and in the Masterfile under two naming variants; it is one project, and 1.4 MWp is the figure we publish.
Hospitality sites are unusual among C&I roofs in that the business underneath never closes and the guest experience is the product. Construction was sequenced so that plant and equipment movements, noise and roof access did not reach the guest-facing parts of the property, and the array was designed around existing rooftop mechanical plant rather than requiring it to move.
An integrated resort runs a substantial, steady daytime cooling load, which is what makes a rooftop array worth building on one. The system feeds that load directly, reducing the share of it that has to be bought from the distribution utility during the most expensive hours of the day.
